I'm so excited that I've finally started my little organization that I've wanted to start for so long now. This has been a process in the making. It's still in the early process... and just as recovery happens, this is an idea that has happened through a process over time. Rock Your Recovery is a division of a non-profit organization in the making from a creative mind to help individuals in financial need to help pay for treatment for eating disorders. I have been lucky with my insurance and although making my co-payments can prove to make financial times difficult, I have been blessed with my inpatient treatment stays. Some are not so lucky. If it were not for my inpatient stays, I would not of been able to break and/or subside my symptom uses of my eating disorder for myself to find enough relief to continue on with the help of outpatient help at The Emily Program in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.

Rock Your Recovery helps raise money for Create Your Recovery, which eventually hopes to become a non-profit for helping those with eating disorders find recovery through creative ways. Creating helped my recovery reach a level that I was not
able to achieve in the traditional sense of therapy with talking or medication. I was able to push past my boundries and reach beyond my limits and find a place in recovery that I didn't think I could achieve with my eating disorder. I rocked my recovery.
"Rock Your Recovery" goes right along with all the famous old time AA sayings, "Take what you can use and leave the rest" and "It works when you work it " and "One Day at a Time ". All these saying work. It's true, when you've learned to Rock Your Recovery, it rocks YOUR world. Recovery Rocks!
This site is just in the beginning and working it's way up to something big. Help support it by "LIKING" us on our facebook page Questions or comments? info@rockyourrecovery.me or rockyourrecovery@gmail.com
